Privacy notice

Last updated: 25 May 2026 · Draft — pending legal review

This notice explains what personal data WINNR collects when you take the intake questionnaire and join the waitlist, why, and the rights you have. Some of what you tell us is sensitive — it concerns your sexual behaviour and your mental wellbeing — so we treat it with extra care, as the law requires.

1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. For any privacy question or request, contact us at winnr.now@outlook.com. [If a Data Protection Officer is appointed, name them here.]

2. What we collect

  • Your answers to the questionnaire: your responses about porn use and masturbation, when porn first became regular for you, your triggers, what you have tried, and your goal — plus the score and "concern band" we calculate from them.
  • Your email address, which you give us at the end to join the waitlist.
  • Your confirmation that you are 18 or older, and the consent choices you make.

We do not collect your IP address or browser/device details with your submission, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is your light/dark theme preference.

3. That this is "special category" data

Your questionnaire answers concern your sex life and your health (mental wellbeing). Under the EU GDPR this is "special category" data, which gets the strongest protection. We may only process it with your explicit consent, which is why we ask you to tick a clear box before we store anything.

4. Why we use it, and our lawful basis

  • To build and send you your personalised plan, and to place you on the waitlist and tell you when access opens — based on your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 9(2)(a)).
  • If — and only if — you tick the optional box, to use your answers in anonymised, aggregated form to improve the science behind WINNR.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your submission only as long as needed for the waitlist and to build your plan, and no longer than 12 months while WINNR is in its pre-launch phase, after which it is deleted. You can ask us to delete it sooner at any time (see your rights below).

6. How we protect it

Your answers are encrypted before they are stored, on servers located in the European Union. Access is limited to the small founding team. We never sell your data, and we never share it with advertisers.

7. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your individual answers with third parties. If you opt in, we may share data with research institutes only in a form that is anonymised and aggregated so it can no longer identify you. [List any processors — e.g. email provider — here once engaged, with their location and safeguards.]

8. Your rights

You can ask us to: see the data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; restrict or object to its use; receive a copy in a portable format; and withdraw your consent at any time (which stops future processing). To exercise any of these, email winnr.now@outlook.com and we will respond within one month.

9. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch supervisory authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl), or to your local EU data protection authority.

10. Age

WINNR is for adults only. You must be 18 or older to take the questionnaire, and we ask you to confirm this before any questions are shown.

11. Changes

We may update this notice as WINNR develops. The "last updated" date above shows the current version.
